Technical Account Manager - Singapore

Job Title: Technical Account Manager

Your role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) department plays a critical role in ensuring overall revenue growth to Elisa Polystar. The Technical Account Manager is an integral part of the sales cycle, collaborating with the Business Region Director to expand the breadth and depth of Elisa Polystar services and product adoption. Reporting to Global TAM Director.

Every day will bring interesting, challenging and rewarding experience on the job while you:

• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.

• Engage with your customers to understand business needs, develop and own the technical relationship with the customer.

• Effectively handle all presales duties such as demo, presentations, proof of concept, RFI/RFP and assist in the technical sales process.

• Design future proof solutions including hardware and software licenses that best fits customer requirements.

• Collecting all customer network information required for the design, implementation and configuration of the solution.

• Technically qualify opportunities and decide the fit vs. Elisa Polystar solutions

• Follow up with the customer in post-sales phase.

• Presenting new solution/features and company roadmap.

• Work closely with peers in CTOO/PO/PSO/Service organizations to ensure that the Customer’s requirements are fulfilled and their expectations met.

Experience and knowledge

•+5 years experience from working with Wireless Communication Service Providers or Service Assurance solution provider.

• Understanding the specific needs and challenges of Wireless CSP’s from an Operational Support System (OSS) perspective.

• Previous customer facing experience as a technical lead

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a complex environment.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

• Presentation skills: equally good with both large and small audiences.

Deep understanding of one or more of the following areas:

• 2G/3G/4G/5G/VoLTE & IMS protocols

• NFV and virtualization

• Core/access network relationship in voice and packet core domains

• How to derive commercial value from network data

• Telecom data science

• Big data concepts

• Cost/Value analysis Preferred experience and/or knowledge

Dina arbetsuppgifter

I rollen som C-utvecklare deltar du i utvecklingen av affärs- och prestandakritiska system för analyser av mobila kommunikationsnät. Vi arbetar med den senaste tekniken och standarderna och befinner oss i den absoluta framkanten av telekombranschen. Våra system är i världsklass och vi lägger stort fokus på prestanda och skalbarhet. Våra system hanterar 100-tals miljarder transaktioner varje dag, över hela världen. Din profil

Job Title: Technical Configuration Manager with automation background

Your role

Senior Software Developer Automation - Finland

Job Title: Automation, Virtual NOC

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to strengthen our team and help us scale up our Virtual Network Operation Center (Virtual NOC) product. Elisa’s NOC has been fully automated since 2010. Today, no one is required to operate the NOC, and we are now selling this solution to customers worldwide.

You will be working closely with the customer and in addition of writing code you will serve as a bridge between the technology and the business side. You will focus on backend development. If preferred, your task could include travelling globally to visit customers when integrating our NOC in their systems.

In order for you to succeed in the role, we expect you to have:  

  • Good technical skills as much as understanding of the business.
  • You have worked with or very interested to learn the main technologies (Kotlin, Kafka, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Python, REST based Microservices for example)
  • Previous working experience in agile development teams
  • It is a big bonus if you are familiar with mobile network technologies (RAN)
  • Having experience from Amazon AWS or Ericsson OSS, is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • Experience of building integrations or working with software product delivery is appreciated.

Test Engineer - Stockholm, Sweden

Job Title: Test Engineer

We build world class single page web applications based on modern web technologies with focus on usability, analytics, performance and scalability.

Your role

As a FrontEnd tester in the team you will participate in the full development workflow, from breaking down requirements to test planning. Polystar use Agile methodologies and our development teams are cross-functional and self-sufficient with a lot of freedom and responsibility.

To contribute you will need previous work experience from large, performance demanding and transaction intensive web-system, and you’ll need knowledge from both client- and server side. Polystar is using technologies like TypeScript, CSS, Linux (CentOS), MongoDB, ClickHouse and MariaDB (SQL).

We are looking for a person who is an experienced FrontEnd tester with a background from a system handling large amounts of data, preferably from the Telco domain, bank or other transaction intensive environment with high requirements on performance and usability. You really need to love the role as a tester and working with complex systems. Earlier work experience from usability testing, performance testing, API-testing, script languages (Python) and working with Linux, MongoDB/SQL, Cypress and REST-assured is a merit.
